The post needs 11 years' experience, of which 5 must be in design and construction of marine structures such as breakwaters, revetments and shore protection, dredging and reclamation, berths, jetties and piling. Government and PSU applicants need 2 years in the IDA Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 scale or equivalent; private-sector applicants need an annual CTC of at least Rs. 24.10 lakh.
