When we refund
We will refund you in full if:
- You were charged but did not get access. The payment succeeded and the title never appeared in your library.
- You were charged twice for the same title, or bought a title you already owned.
- The content is wrong or unusable — pages missing, file corrupt, or the title is materially not what the page described.
- We withdrew the title after you bought it and can no longer provide it.
If a payment leaves your account but the order does not complete, you do not need to do anything for it to be found: a reconciliation job checks captured payments against orders every day. Tell us anyway if it has been more than 24 hours and you are out of pocket, and we will chase it.
When we do not refund
Once a title has been opened and its pages decrypted to your device, we cannot take it back — so we do not refund a change of mind, a title you found less useful than you hoped, or one bought by mistake and then read. This is why every title has free preview pages: read them before you buy.
We may also decline where a pattern of buying and refunding suggests the content was being obtained rather than evaluated.
Cancelling before delivery
An order that has not been paid for can simply be abandoned; unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after two hours and nothing is charged.
Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal — it does not refund the period you are in, and you keep access until that period ends.
How to ask
Write to us from the contact page with your order number and what went wrong. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
How long a refund takes
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method — we cannot send a refund anywhere else. Once we approve it, the money typically reaches you in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. We will tell you when we have issued it.
When a purchase is refunded, the licence for that title is revoked and it is removed from your library and your devices.
