- Qualification
- Officers who have retired on superannuation or taken voluntary retirement from the Railways, other Government departments, Central PSUs, Ports or JV companies under Government control, with service experience in execution of infrastructure projects. CDA scale: retired in PB-3 + GP 6600 (now Level 11, 7th CPC). IDA scale: retired in E-4 (Rs 29,100-54,500 pre-revised, now Rs 70,000-2,00,000). Higher grade pay or scale granted under ACP/MACP/NF is not counted. Specific requirement: working experience in Railway Track, Underground/Elevated Metro projects, Railway projects, Multistoried Building projects, Railway Maintenance & Operations etc.

- IDA E-4 (Rs 70,000-2,00,000); starting basic Rs 70,000 plus IDA, HRA, perks at 20% of basic and transport allowance at 10% of basic
